â¢ The keyboard can be transposed within a range of â12 to +12. â¢ The default transpose setting is â00â when keyboard power is turned on. â¢ If you leave the transpose screen on the display for about five seconds without doing anything, the screen is automatically cleared. â¢ The transpose setting also affects Auto Accompaniment. â¢ Playing back a Song Bank tune automatically returns the transpose setting to its standard default of â00â. â¢ The effect of a transpose operation depends on the pitch of each note and on the tone you are currently using. If a transpose operation causes a note to be outside of the allowable range for a tone, the same note in the nearest octave within the range will be substituted.
Tuning the Keyboard
Use the following procedure to fine tune the keyboard to match the tuning of another musical instrument.
To tune the keyboard
Press the SETTING button until the tuning screen appears.
Use the [+], [â], and the number buttons to adjust the tuning value.
Example: To lower tuning by 20
â¢ The keyboard can be tuned within a range of â50 cents to +50 cents. * 100 cents is equivalent to one semitone. â¢ The default tuning setting is â00â when keyboard power is turned on. â¢ If you leave the tuning screen on the display for about five seconds without doing anything, the screen is automatically cleared. â¢ The tuning setting also affects playback from song memory and Auto Accompaniment. â¢ To return the keyboard to its default tuning, perform the above procedure and press the [+] and [â] buttons at the same time in step 2.
